How to Measure Your Basement
Venture down to your basement with a tape measure, pad of paper and pencil. Placing your tape measure at the joint where the floor and walls meet, measure each run's length in feet (ft) and write it down. Then total up all your runs to get your basement's total linear footage. Using example to left:
40 + 20 + 35 +2 +5 +18 = 120 linear feet
Now, count how many inside and outside corners you'll need for your project. Our basement waterproofing estimator will automatically caluclate how many main sections, corners tubes of glue and butt-joints you'll need for your basement!
